We speak of things that matter, with words that must be said…
The name “Of Things That Matter” was inspired by the Simon & Garfunkel song “The Dangling Conversation” written by Paul Simon. I have liked their music ever since I was introduced to it in my Junior year of college, and I still listen to it today. Of course in their case the phrase is satire – the next line is “can analysis be worthwhile; is the theater really dead?” In my case, I am writing about things that do matter to me and, I hope, to you. I have a range of topics, as I have a range of interests. I hope some may interest you. And I hope to encourage you to think about some of these things as well.
